Sparks began to fly when she teamed up with twang-rockers Bob Spector (guitar) and Ted O’Connell (bass) of The GoldDiggers and the lineup was solidified with Ian Taylor Sutton on pedal steel and drummer Steve Pearson.
Moonshine Maybelline was introduced to the world with a live performance on college radio leader KALX which earned a spot on their “Best of 2014” list and a SXSW showcase opening for hometown favorite Chuck Prophet.
The band continues to shine on the local scene with appearances ranging from The Fillmore Poster Room to an outdoor concert at Pixar Animation Studios and top local clubs including Make-Out Room, Armando’s, The Starry Plough and The Lost Church.
